The 37th Annual F.J. Reitz Drill on the Hill Music Festival will be held this Saturday, October 5th with the first band performing at 6:00 pm CST. The F.J. Reitz Drill on the Hill will be held at none other than our VERY own historic Reitz Bowl! For those of you who have attended our DRUMS on the OHIO event, you know very well how amazing our Reitz Bowl is catered to the marching arts. With a very unique “bowl” design, your able to experience a “wall of sound” as a spectator that is unmatched by any other high school football stadium in the region. Featuring beautiful views over the Ohio River, and not one bad seat in the house, this is a contest you don’t want to miss! Recently the stadium has been nationally recognized as one of “10 More High School Football Stadiums to See Before you Die.” Another great feature of the Reitz Bowl is that those who are handicapped or using wheelchairs need not miss out on the fantastic views as the top level of seating is at entry level!
This year Drill on the Hill features 8 of the best bands in the area along with a special exhibition by the F.J. Reitz Mighty Marching Panthers. Now that it’s mid-season and most bands have all their drill on the field, this contest will be one you don’t want to miss!
