The Boston Crusaders will be returning to DRUMS on the OHIO on June 24. Seth Patterson from Evansville, Indiana will joining them. This will be Seth’s second year with Boston. He will be marching along with the Mellophone line.

Seth is a graduate of Harrison High School. Seth was a member of the marching band at Harrison. He also performed with EVSC Honor Band, Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and All Region Honor Band. Seth is very excited to be performing back in Evansville this year. “A home show is something I didn’t realize would be such a big deal until I didn’t get to have one last season. It will be refreshing to come home for a few days, see some friends, and get to play in front of a hometown crowd,” said Seth.

This summer Seth plans to expand his growth as a member in addition to soaking up as much information as possible from staff. He will take the knowledge that he learns this year and put it towards his music education degree.

“As someone who plans to study music education, drum corps is a fantastic way to learn and train skill sets that will help in the future.”

We are very lucky to have both Boston Crusaders and Seth back this year at DRUMS on the OHIO, presenting their 2019 production, “Goliath.” We hope that they both have a successful season. Have a great summer, Seth!
