Performing with Phantom Regiment again this season is Reitz High School graduate Andrew Koch. In the Fall, Andrew will be attending his fourth year at Indiana State University where he studies Music Education. He is a member of the baritone section in the university’s marching band and he has also participated in the ISU Wind Symphony as the principal euphonium.

Andrew has moved on to the ISU Wind Orchestra but has always been willing to perform with various ensembles whenever there is a need. He continues to perform with both the Marching Sycamores, where he has served as baritone section leader, and the Sycamore Basketball Band. Andrew has been noted by his instructors for his hard work and willingness to learn.

“It is my goal to be a great music teacher and learning from these great instructors has helped me gain some knowledge in the field of instruction.”

This season, Phantom Regiment will be presenting their 2019 production, “I am Joan.” Andrew is very excited about his second season with the corps. “The experiences that I have gained through my first year was phenomenally eye opening not only to the activities that we were doing, but also to the different teaching styles of the instructors and staff,” said Andrew. It is his goal to one day be a great music teacher and learning from great instructors at the corps has helped him gain knowledge in the field of instruction.

We are very excited to have Andrew and Phantom Regiment back at DRUMS on the OHIO on Monday, June 24. We would like to wish Andrew and Phantom Regiment all the best this season.
